Nissan accelerates portfolio expansion

Nissan-Renault boss, Carlos Ghosn, believed that they needed to “improve awareness of the brand” which was certainly the case with over 4,000 cars used to transport competitors and dignitaries during the event.

Following the Rio Olympics sponsorship, Nissan pushed their brand further with the launch of seven new or improved vehicles at the São Paulo Motor Show.

From an increase in Brazilian market share, to the successful launch of its new Kicks crossover vehicle, to robust consumer brand engagement, Nissan declared its Rio 2016 Olympic sponsorship an unqualified success.
